Bur Dubai to Deira:

Even though the work load was high last week, I managed to go to Deira with my friend after logging out. It was in a boat, crossing the famous Dubai Creek. As the sun was down, the temperature was less. The Dubai city looks beautiful at night. The multi color lights, slow moving traffic, a long view of Burj Khalif... that was a beautiful journey. Many private tour organizers arrange boats in the creek with music and dinner. Even Dubai Road Transport Authority got water taxies across the creek. Apart from this, there is another cheap mode of transport. 1 Dhirham taxi. It’s an open boat which can carry around 12 peoples at a time. It was a nice trip to cross the creek via this boat.
It took around 10 minutes to cross the creek. Our plan was to return as early as possible. After reaching Deira, our plans got changed. The Creek is the border of Deira city also. As a result, the traffic is less. Its nice to walk through the streets of Deira. Though the traffic is less, the population density is high compared to Dubai city. As our plans are changed, we decided to walk through the streets. The time was around 11.00 PM. But the streets are still crowded. We were tired after a long walk. We were not in a position to walk back and cross the creek. Luckily we got a bus just to the place where we live. We reached our room around 12.15 AM. Even though we were so tired, we enjoyed our trip.
Waiting for another holiday for a new adventure....
